1 Corinthians 6:1-8 Lawsuits Against Believers:

1.  Where do modern Christians go to resolve legal disputes?

2.  What time do you feel Paul is referring to when he says Christians will judge the world?

3.  Have you met any Christians who judge the world now?

4.  If Christians feel the world is subject to our judgment, why do you feel they take their legal disputes to the worldly courts?

5.  What does it tell non-Christians about us if we can't resolve our differences?

6.  Paul mentions Christians who cheat and do wrong to each other.  Do you know of any Christians doing this now?  Explain.

1 Corinthians 6:9-20 Sexual Immorality:

1.  Paul warns Christians, because of their behavior, that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God.  Do you feel teachings like this are directed at Christians or non-Christians today?  Explain!

2.  In vs 9-10, Paul gives a laundry list of things that can keep you out of God's kingdom.  Which of these sins less sinful than the others?  Why?

3.  In your experience, which of these sins are accepted and practiced by Christians?  Are you sure?

4.  Did Paul just eliminate the Law by saying everything is permissible?  Why/Why not?

5.  What do you feel he means by being "mastered by" anything?

6.  Paul talks about uniting with a prostitute being the same as marriage (v16), but, how do you feel this relates to sexual intercourse in general?  By Paul's reckoning do you think there can be anything called pre-marital sex?  Compare Exodus 22:16 and Deuteronomy 22:28 with what Paul is saying, here...Surprise!

7.  What do you feel Paul means by all other sins being outside the body, but sexual sins being inside?
