4. What if you were in Paul's position, falsely accused, arrested, taken to a distant city and put in prison...would you respond in a way that advances the Gospel of Christ? Explain!
5. If someone you respected had that happen to them, would you be encouraged to "speak the word of God more courageously?" How/why do you feel things are different between then and now?
6. What do you feel it means to preach Christ out of envy and rivalry?
7. Give some examples you've seen of people preaching Christ out of selfish ambition.
8. Paul rejoices that Christ is preached, whether by false motives or true. Do you feel he's saying people can be led to Christ through false preachers? why/why not?
