1. In vs 1-2, Paul gives a great definition of what it is to be an imitator of God.
a. Make a list of what you see the Christian church in general doing that fits that description and another list of what they do that contradicts the description.
b. Make two similar lists of what your church is doing.
c. Make two similar lists of what you are doing.
2. Verses 3 through 7 give a great description of how people in the Church should live. How much of this behavior have you seen tolerated among Christians?
3. How long do you feel it's appropriate to include Christians who do not control their behavior in these areas?
4. Was there ever a time in your Christian walk when you were guilty of any of these? How would you have felt toward God if the church excluded you?
5. Have you ever done something in secret you knew was wrong?
6. How do you feel living as a child of the light can help keep you pure?
7. Does vs 11 tell you to have nothing to do with actions or with people doing such actions?
8. Vs 18 has been interpreted to mean we are not to drink alcoholic beverages. What do you feel it means? Why?
9. Vs 19-20 describe a way Christians are to fellowship with each other. What are some examples you've seen this done among Christians?
